Operating Instructions for the TRAXX PRINTER family of automatically self-inking stamps:

Dear client!

The TRAXX PRINTER self-inking stamps you bought are of the highest possible quality and the best materials you can buy and have been carefully examined to assure they work properly. To assure your stamp will work properly for a long time, please observer the directions below.

1. A stamp’s printing quality basically depends on how flat and clean the surface is that we want to stamp. To guarantee perfect printing, you need to have a sheet of paper that provides a smooth, flat horizontal surface that is both clean and dust-free.

2. When you start to print, place the stamp on the surface you want to stamp. The large opening at the side of the stamp helps you to position it precisely for printing. The large rubber pads at the bottom of the stamp keep you from accidentally moving to the side.

3. At a constant speed and with a little pressure, press down the stamp until it makes contact. Never throw the stamp or hit it, since this can damage it and you could loose your guarantee.

4. The heart of TRAXX PRINTER stamps is a quality ORIGINAL TRAXX PRINTER inkpad. We do not advise you to try to re-ink to ink pads that have dried up. To assure quality, sharp printing, simply replace the pad. If you do decide to re-ink the pad, only use special ink that has been designed for stamps. Improper or poor quality ink can destroy the plastic housing and the text plate. If you use the wrong ink you can lose your guarantee.

5. The TRAXX PRINTER stamp family has been designed for use in an office situation. Using the stamp in dusty dirty areas or under extreme weather and temperature conditions can shorten the life of the stamp or cause you to lose your guarantee.

6. The metal structure of the stamp does not require any oil or grease.

7. CHANGING THE INKPAD: Press in the two red buttons at the sides of the stamp with one hand and then press the stamp down from the top with the other hand until you hear the FIRST soft click. Then stop and release the red buttons to keep the stamp in this position. With the stamp in this position you can easily remove the used inkpad and replace it with a new one. (NB: Be sure the inkpad is facing down!) Once you have replaced the pad, press the stamp gently from the bottom until it unlocks and the stamp can be used again.

8. SETTING THE DATE: Press in the two red buttons at the sides of the stamp with one hand and then press the stamp down from the top with the other hand until you hear the SECOND soft click. Then stop and release the red buttons to keep the stamp in this position. The rubber stamp with the date is now in position at the bottom of the stamp where you can see it. Hold the wheel at the side of the stamp with your thumb and index finger and turn the numbers at exposed at the side of the stamp until you see the date you want at the bottom. (NB: Do not touch the numbers at the bottom since they have ink on them!) Then press the stamp gently from the bottom until it unlocks and the stamp can be used again. (NB: Never try to simply turn the date wheel with one finger!)
